I totally love 'Don't Marry Her' and have always found the two versions interchangeable in funny ways. Some of their greatest hits packages have the 'clean' version and at least one has the 'other' version. The original album and singles have the more colourful version. I think the singer with probably the most indecipherable lyrics has to be David Bowie, and I speak as a fan (apart from his latter years). I remember him once saying in an interview that he would sometimes write the lyrics, then jumble them around, which makes sense, when you read some of them.

Sounds like a case of "entitlement" more than anything else. I presume she has diplomatic immunity, so it seems to have gone to her head. Certainly the ambassador's position is untenable.

That got a lot of coverage over here, but it isn't really an Irish accent. There are some vowel sounds similar to an Irish accent, but she'd never pass for a native over here. Interesting though!

EU leaders seem to be sending out mixed messages: Mark Rutte wanting Hungary out of the EU on the one hand, and Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron sucking-up to Vladimir Putin on the other. Does anyone even know what "European values" mean any more?

One point which seems to have been completely overlooked in this incident is the fact that she was a woman falsely accusing a man. We probably all know strong women who are quite capable of playing the "poor, defenceless female" card to gain advantage in a dispute with a man.
