UA 950/951 Cancelled Dec 2/3

I noticed that both the outbound and inbound United flights from Dulles to Brussels were cancelled today. Can anyone shed any light as to why both legs were cancelled? Mechanical or otherwise?

Indeed it was the CRJ-200. I was there until 8 pm last night, and lucky to hope on a flight to Seattle. 95% of my flight was stuck in PSC until 2 pm today.

At a Boeing factory tour I attended two weeks ago, the tour leader referred to the LCF as the "pickle." I think it's rather appropriate considering its proportions and current paint job.

N1120A- as a frequent visitor to Sun Valley, I'm afraid I have to correct you on one point in your latest post (post 12). Sun Valley is actually located in Idaho, not Utah. But you're entirely correct about it being extremely popular with Southern Californians and movie stars.

SOAC, Jetblue was given the major carrier status by the government a few years ago. In fact, they were the quickest airline to achieve this status. They may not be as big, but they certainly are an airline to contend with.

I appreciate your comments, Phil. What program would you recommend I use to crop and resize, that would not result in such high jpeg compression. I'm currently using Irfanview, which obviously is not doing the job. Would you recommend I shoot in RAW?
