Re: Virgin Atlantic and Alitalia new expansions

I could definitely see AZ serving ATL, MSP and maybe DTW seasonally. Ages ago AZ was to announce IAH service and regretfully it never happened -- they they hooked up with Skyteam. Not with DL flying the route. FCO is extremely seasonal as mentioned, but non-JFK DL hubs have enough service. Yes, the...

The fan clubs in CLT, PHL, and PHX will be disappointed that MNL won’t be their first Asian nonstop.

Not going to happen, even from DFW or LAX. MIA has a lot of MNL traffic, but yields that make AA ORD-China look good and we know how that worked out.

Interesting that ORD is on this list at all. The delays at the airport are down significantly when compared to before the newer runways came online. Maybe because ORD was slot controlled in the past and has had delay problems as well. Most of this is changing due to the new runway configuration, ev...

I can see JL doing HND-BOS/DFW/LAX/MIA/ORD/SEA, but HND-AUS/BNA/CLT/PHL/PHX/RDU make little sense.
