After thinking about it I foresee two problems: 1. Adding floats to an aircraft of this size would generate a massive amount of drag that would greatly limit its range. Has anyone noticed that Cessna has not released a single rendering or picture of the cockpit ever since the program was launched 5 years ago ?

They certainly were not shy about showing off the flight deck of the new Denali aircraft under development. Wonder what the reason is for all the secrecy.
