A North will be United, Southwest, JetBlue, Frontier, and VIA.
A South will be evenly split between Delta and American. So American will be gaining 5 new mainline capable gates by the end of 2018.
The expansion of E continues and American Eagle will gain 10 new gates.

Just to add to the earlier comments on DL at CLT; they will be moving to the new A North Concourse in about 8 months. With the move I expect them to pick up an extra gate and possibly open a Sky Club as well.

As CV just pointed out...the 26% reduction in passengers pretty much mirrors the downgrade from the A346 to the A333. So the load factor is pretty much still the same...but the plane flown is smaller....anywho the flight is doing fine right now, but who knows what the future holds.

Just to be clear...all this article is about is that the 4th Parallel runway has been added to the updated Master Plan for the airport...so it is now on the 20 year horizon. Since 2001 the avg fare in CLT has dropped 21%. So yes fares have come down in Charlotte and noticably so. Also the O&D numbers have correspondingly gone up.
