I remember in 2002 some airline flew twice a week sometimes to/from destinations and "they" said it was irrelevant.

I wonder what ever happened to Allegiant. I'll have to look that one up on departedflights.com or something.

But this is essentially the new "business travel."

If I'm working remote, I can dart off for a week to a leisure destination, pretty much at my pleasure, "work" in the morning, play in the afternoon and evening for the week, and mark it down as only 2 PTO instead of 5.

June on American looks to be 45 flights or so a day - with some low hanging fruit (based on pre-COVID), at least, frequency adds which could definitely hit the 50 mark.
