RE: EasyJet's Future? (Stelios/EK/Competition)

Personally, I feel Stelios is using the aircraft order as an "excuse" to sell his shares while the price is so high at the moment. His whole ethos when starting EZY was to "take on the big guys" and "champion the small, not so well off person / company" - I don't think EZY has lost it's way (still L...

EZY are due to announce their 2012 year end results tomorrow and are expected to have made record profits. RE: Did EZY Pay Too Much For GT?

I don't think ezy paid too much for GB. As others have said, it gave them a huge boost at Lgw along with a way to trial the A320. RE: Thomas Cook & EasyJet Tie-up - End Of UK Charters?

Thomas Cook have been using seats on easyJet flights for a while now, certainly since the beginning of summer 2011 for both their flexible trips brand and mainstream packages. This deal, if announced, sounds like the seats will be at a fixed price rather than paying the "rate on the day" but for a g...

RE: Easyjet Allocated Seating Announcement

It was simply a question rather than a rumour. As I said in my original reply I doubt easyJet would delay selling flights for next summer for a small reason - with the flights not due to operate for many months I could only think that the res system is a potential reason for the delay. Let's see wha...

Be interesting to see if they keep the 156 seat layout or reduce to 150 and have just 3 cabin crew. Rumours at easyJet suggest airbus gave ezy a large discount when the aviation authorities stuck to their 1 crew per 50 pax rule.
