JFK Terminal 7. More often than not requires being towed onto the stand because space is so tight. With the terminal dating back to the 1960s it wasn't realiy designed for anything bigger than VC-10s and 707s...Another reason why BA won't/can't operate the A380 to JFK.

On a related note when BA38 landed short of the runway at LHR in 2008 BA gave all the passengers Gold status (oneworld Emerald) for a year.

If you fly alone, once you take your team with you. Add that you can use more airports and do not have to connect. There will always be a market for first class, maybe on limited routes and or in smaller cabins. I know enough people that just buy the highest cabin available regardless of what the seat 10ft behind is like. Who knows? It is quite possible that the typical customers will mostly move to private jets...

This aircraft is not in oneworld titles but is preserved at Dunsfold, not far from Gatwick.

The A380 isn't even in the top 10 failures, IMO.

As much as I love Concorde from a sales standpoint it was disaster. When the state funded airlines of the two development countries are the only two, extremely reluctant, operators that says a lot.

Why not just hand out iPads in first class and main cabin extra? and then charge $10 to regular economy, add in free wifi with the rental and you got yourself a big money maker. Just got to the Cathay Pacific lounge or Qantas lounge. As a Sapphire/Emerald member or flying business/first class you have access to the lounges AA, BA, QF and CX offer. AA's is a distant fourth on the ranking IMO.
