Of the US3, i only see the 777X in UA and AA. DL is relying on the A359 and possibly the A35K. Even the 77W is too much plane for DL, so i dont see them getting the 777X. UA and AA made the 77W work since they both fly longer routes that require the range and capacity for both TPAC and TATL routes. ...

The new seats on the 764 look no different than their current J seats. These just look like a modified version of their old J seats, which IMO was extremely small and cramped. If they really wanted to, they could of modified their suites seat so that it would work on the 764. DL just got lazy....

I just flew back to SFO and noticed a few 763's parking the the UA maintenance building. Are the 763 there for maintenance or are they scheduled? 763 are rare at SFO now.

the last time i saw a 763 fly out of SFO was maybe early 2011.

LAX dominates when to TPAC routes. SFO is only strong in that area because of UA. If you remove UA from the picture, SFO is tiny when it comes to TPAC.

Check this out, I've been checking for a while but they are finally up. Boeing makes 3D computer models of each airline livery on each plane that their customers have and that they still sell. They finally updated the United livery, so you can now see what it looks like on the 777, 787, 737, and 73...

Pretty sure DL let HKG go for good. It'll be a while before DL re-enters the HKG market. Their JV with KL is covering that area pretty well for them.

I dont think SEA/YVR is a threat to the SFO TPAC's supremacy. SEA is extremely congested when it comes to gates and terminal space. Unless they can expand their terminals, i dont see them being a threat to SFO.

I could be wrong, so please correct me if needed.

Well atleast they both now have a similar J products...you're just paying for a different level of service. If i wanted to book a J/Y seat, i'd go with UA since its more comfortable being on the 788. For you avgeeks, the 748 upper deck is a win!!!

UA was slow in getting rid of their Battleship livery. IIRC, they still had a few flying when they merged CO. UA had 4 different livery's during the merger. PMCO, PMUA(battleship) PMUA(blue), and the now old UA livery.

This alone is worthy of praise, especially after the Dr Dao fiasco. It's people who make up the airline. It's people who pay to fly on these planes. I love the new tail! love how the gradient look. Its a nice fresh look for UA.
