Re: Weird Flight Plan? FDX 1311

It’s called a sweep route or sweep run. It purposely goes out of the way and over cities. So if they have to ‘divert’ and pick up packages from cities along the way from airports that have aircraft go tech, they can. For example here they can hit PHX, ABQ, ELP, DFW/AFW, IAH, OKC, MSY etc leading all...

We have discussed before, but I think now is the time WN maybe tries BTV.

And by now, I mean in the next 1-3 years. Looking at their new add of Steamboat, I think it bodes well for BTV down to road.

As someone who took the F9 DEN flight in June and it was close to full and so far have seen many of my old friends in VT take the said DEN flight, the route seems like a great add. I was surprised a bit to not see any winter additions from BTV on F9, RSW or TPA. But hopefully F9 sticks around and do...

This will continue to stimulate the TPA-SEA-TPA market. If you have seen the AS fares for the non-stops, they are making a pretty good yield, the fares themselves are not cheap. Not to bring this into a tangent, but what determines extra fuel? I've seen some planes hold for over an hour, on domestic segments and this flight for example, if it was a fuel and go, barely could hold for say 20 minutes.
