Did DL give up gate E70 at TPA? Noticed heavy usage amongst AC & F9 in recent online FIDS searches. Apparently Delta never had it prior it was always common use gate its just now Airside E is so overcrowded youll never see DL using it again And maybe makes sense/truth to DL wanting Airside D

With Breeze adding TPA-PNS, we shall see how long Silver tries to stick it out. TPA-PNS, is one of their (3M's) best performing routes LF wise, and as myself and family have taken the Silver flights back and forth from TPA-PNS-TPA many times, the Breeze flights are certainly more attractive already.

I found it interesting that CUN survived the cuts. Sounds like more cuts are coming in April and that JetBlue is going back to their 'bread and butter' routes, which could mean some more TPA p2p NE routes, BUF, DCA? But the p2p market is getting eaten by Breeze currently so who knows. With B6 exiti...

I do think BQN would have worked on either one of B6 or F9, but both of them launching it at the same time and competing means we get this.

TPA-BQN will soon lose its last flight, once B6 ends it's route.

TPA has very little gate space left.

And it won't be until Airside D is done, which is 4-5 years away and rumor is DL is vying for Airside D.

Which could lead UA to moving to E and taking the lounge space for a UA Club, but all of that is a handful of years away from even being an option.
