As I understand the MIA-SDQ-MIA was actually an Amerijet flight operated by the DC-8. We have quite the interesting mix with at least 3 722s and 1-2 DC-8s operating on the NE side of MIA.

Evening all, I’ve had quite an eventful run all of a sudden with pictures just being all over the place and I’m not sure at this point if it’s me. Turning to the forums now for help and advice. First is this shot of an AA 757 https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/airliners/9/6/0/6011069.jpg?v=v470aa9...
Jump to postYa we’ve had multiple people look at the raw image. There is no banding at all, there is cloud/smog layer that the sun angle is highlighting but other than that there is nothing
Jump to postI did. That “banding” if you can call it that is fairly normal for a sunset shot like this especially with the environmentals. I’ve had that “issue” cleared with other individuals
Jump to postAfternoon All, I’m having “severe” issues with a photo. I’ve had many other individuals look at it, edit it, re-edit it due to two previous rejections. This morning, I woke up to the third rejection of the attached shot. Not only that, I’ve now been banned from uploading for the next two weeks. This...
Jump to postIt’s not too bad! Yes you will need to go through security before you hop on the bus. You can catch the bus at terminal 4 or terminal 5 and it takes about 10-15min so plan accordingly with that. You can get on the bus in Terminal 4 toward the end of the concourse off on the left side (you will see s...
Jump to postHey guys I think the views counter is bugged again. A lot of shots are getting views (or should be high on the list) but are moving backwards.

Hello
Please check it now and all should be okay. If not please let us know.
Thanks
Paul
It could work with less space above the tower. I'm not on my screening monitor, but it appears that image is underexposed and over sharpened as well. Remember that if the fence occupies 1/3 or more of the space from the bottom of the frame, it will likely draw a motive rejection. Sharp looking (no ...
Jump to postAfternoon All, Tried to do my best with this one. Its a new paint/new title jet so it went the priority route. It got denied for it being too low in the frame which honestly I thought would be its downfall. I have plenty of space to recrop it, however I am trying to obviously avoid the fence as much...

Jump to postI don’t think I’d say “given up” I’d say more like they shifted their true focus elsewhere. With CLT and MIA for AA and ATL for DL in the south UA likely doesn’t want to focus on growing BWI over say DCA or IAD which does suck but it’s business.
Jump to postTo be honest it’s all up to you. I fly AA and contrary to what many on this site say, I love them. Sure, it helps that I live just south of MIA and every other place I’ve lived has been near one of their hubs (DFW, PHX, ORD) but I go out of my way in many occasions to fly with them or OW partners. D...
Jump to postThe quality and the shot itself were all cleared as being good but I had considered those as well. Thanks for the reply!
Jump to postAfternoon Everyone, Had a picture fail out for being underexposed, fixed it, it got dinged for the same thing again but this time any additional exposure fix would destroy the shot so I appealed it. Its been looked at and asked for "second opinions" now 3-4 times and hasn't been touched no...
Jump to postQuite possible. They’ve been doing those ops out at San Angelo for quite a while now and with Fort Hood / Robert Gray right down the road it would not surprise me at all.
Jump to postOh look... A post not having anything to do with AA and people flock out of the wood-work to bash AA... We get it, you hate AA, some of us don't (I go out of my way to fly with them) but you don't hear us bashing DL or whatever airline at every turn. Move on. Sorry PHLBOS didn't mean to stray from y...
Jump to postScum bags... I was lased 2 weeks ago landing into Tucson on 29R from the FAF until about 100 above. TPD and Pima County Sheriff’s Department offered $5K for their arrest. They lased 6 F-16s, a United Express CRJ and a Southwest 737 in the period of about 10 min. High powered lasers, in our case a gr...
Jump to postI worked for American Eagle (before they were Envoy), I can confirm there are none left in the fleet. I was there when one of the last ones completed it’s final flight before leaving for storage in Kingman, AZ where most are stored. Jump to postYa it would/should have parked on the remote stand near T2. The Northside would be a dream come true though haha just not gonna happen.

Jump to postVery interesting and plausible explanation atcpeter thank you! We also were talking about maybe the possibility that they were working with a new type of autoland or an upgrade? I know little to nothing about how those systems work (my jet has a VERY basic autopilot). Someone even threw out the poss...
Jump to postGood Afternoon Folks, I've got a bit of a mystery for everyone. Yesterday I landed in front of a UA 772 on a low approach, on the taxi back to our ramp, just passing in front of the terminal at TUS we watched the 772 very aggressively start the go-around. I say aggressive because it was started arou...
Jump to postI think that it is fair to say that listening to this as a pilot scared the hell out of me. I understand using the local language, believe me I do, but at an international airport all that is doing is causing situational awareness (for those who do not speak the local language) to either be limited ...

Jump to postHey everyone, If anyone is interested, on Thursday the 17th while flying around the Buckeye MOA (just a couple days before the Dayton Airshow in Dayton, OH), Blue Angel 8 lost an engine and declared an emergency.
