If the one-handed arrestee is so violent and is flailing about in such a manner that he/she would likely hurt him/herself during transport, I'd consider calling for EMS and strapping him/her to a stretcher for transport to the jail. Once in the jail, a restraint chair would work fine.

The cheapest way to get an airliner might be to form a not-for-profit organization and convince an operator to donate an old one to you for the tax write-off. It's not uncommon for airlines to donate old airframes to universities, museums, etc in this manner.

I think it's possible the variation in vertical stab sweep might have more to do with structural concerns and less to do with aerodynamics. Adjusting the sweep is one way...and perhaps one of the only ways...to shorten and lengthen the moment arm of the elevator.

Well, the Bell's sponsons contain fuel tanks. And because the gear retract into them, valuable space inside the fuselage is saved.

The versions that have skids instead of retractable gear use the space that would otherwise house the gear for increased fuel capacity.

Claiming with absolute certainty that ghosts and/or the paranormal do not exist is as shortsighted as someone from the middle ages claiming with absolute certainty that radio waves do not exist.

Just because we lack the ability to detect something does not prove it does not exist.
