Breaking news!

The Argentine Government announced yesterday that they are retiring the entire presidential fleet - the T-01 B757-200; T-02 and T-03 Fokker F28s; and T-04 a B737-200. The President will use T-10 a Lear Jet, or fly commercial. This is what I call having his priorities straight!

I remember watching the heavies initiating the turn to circle around from my office just off SR92, next to the San Mateo Bridge. That was a few years ago now. I haven't been to the Bay Area in 6 years - wow! Landings on the 1s are always spectacular to watch!

Interesting enough, that servide still uses the same flight number to this date -- AAL 1. Normally, flight numbers involved in crashes are retired.
