I've heard if you fail to report a DUI, or ommit anything on a license application, they WILL revoke your certificate. Especially since 9/11. They aren't hard on those who didn't know, but are unforgiving on those who lie.

I know a few prices of turboshaft engines offhand.
Your basic Allison 250 engine low time is around $250,000. A zero time T55-GA-714 is a little over a cool mil. Most of the T62 APU series are around $100,000. Rough ballpark from what I can remember.

Westinghouse J-34 turbojets, General Electric J-47 turbojets. Both on a maintenance stand and in a test cell. Those were some real screamers. Late 40's to early 50's era hardware.

Is the correct ownership lineage began with Allied Signal, then Garrett, now it's a Honeywell engine? The TFE731 is an interesting engine. The N1 drives the low pressure compressor as well as the gear driven fan. What other engines have a gear reduction fan??
