RE: AA Moves To D In Milwaukee Tonight 9-14-15

Most bridges are capable of being moved. And the last I heard that is indeed what is happening. 2 gates from C will be relocated to D. Don't recall exactly which ones. There are newer bridges on E that could be transferred. It would seem that if they replaced the pedestal bridges on D with gates fro...

RE: AA Moves To D In Milwaukee Tonight 9-14-15

AA is using D30 most likely because the other gates close to D52 and D56 are not regional jet capable. Some due to the AC units underneath or the Jetway is a 3 tunnel, which cause slope and swing issues.

RE: MKE Finishes Baggage Claim Renovation

AA will temporary use D39 and D53. Frontier will consildate to D41. Alaska will be at D51. Later down the road two gates will be moved from C terminal to the hammerhead of D between D53 and D56 which AA will then start using. Don't recall the timeli...

MX facility still has all equipment and tooling there. But there using the facility for storage of parts for Republic and Frontier. Hasn't been an aircraft up there in awhile. MKE has been somewhat qu...

RE: MKE Gate Layouts Post AA/US Merger

Last I heard was a bid went out for two more gates to be installed on D, between 52-56 and 51-53. Also D30 was changed from a pedestal bridge to an apron driving bridge. I would bet that in time D34,36 and 38 also get changed to an apron bridge. D can obviously hold more aircraft than its being used...

RE: Unusual Accident @ MKE 717-200

I seen this damage quite closely. Cant say I was suprised by it, after years and years on the airfield this stuff seems to get quite common. What did suprise me was the amount of damage. I could clearly see the seperated seam, id guess the tear was about 6" by 12" with surronding damage aswell.

RE: MKE Changes

D34,36 and 38 are non swinging gates on hard stands. They will not lower to regional aircraft levels. At some point i imagine those will be replaced like 30 but nothing is in the works as I know it. From what I hear is F9 will stay down by 39 and 41...

RE: Future Of Best Care Club In MKE?

Largest aircraft at D that I know of was the icelandic 747 the came here for the EAA fly in a few years back. It was on the hammerhead but did obvoiusly wander its wings into the next gate. The thing with the airbus and other widebodies is the height of the wing. As they get higher off the ground so...

Southwest/Airtran Station Updates.

I highly doubt FL in MKE would move to the D concourse. Although F9 is shrinking there they are retaining al...

if you were hired by F9 than you have complete access to the branded side, midwest, republic and frontier. Now there contract flying is a little different. I believe you need to follow the rules of the airline in which there flying for.
