the Max9 that just did the ferry is in the current paint. the multi-blue and white tail that is raising eyebrows may be to Nordstar. I agree that if a new paint is to appear it may come out of AMA (or VCV or HKG) first.

Apparently there is a MAX out of the factory with a just the rudder with a new design....rest of fuselage still bare. Basic colors are far too pale...from Fonts to graphics....waaay too much pale and light grey. Makes reading slower and harder. The whole board looks washed out....not good as I am not going to change my monitor setting for just one website...but I strongly suspect some of the designers did.

First off departing west out of KSAN is similar to west out of KSFO...both runways are pointed pretty much to avoid hills...KSAN goes out over the north end of Ocean Beach and KSFO goes out the Pacifica Gap. Neither are pointed due west for this reason....holdover from the old days...grin. However.....

When manufacturers keep putting the 2L door close to the leading edge of the wing root this will always happen...757-200 a prime example. Compounding the problem is that the jetways now have extra stuff hanging off that side...mostly baggage slides attached to the stairs...so the clearances are even...
