Re: Korean Air Chairman: business conditions poor, looking to divest assets, form more JVs

KE STILL doesn't have the gold standard of business class (1-2-1, more space per customer) while the AFKL + DL planes have the new suites. Also in-flight wifi and price is accordingly. To be fair to KE, DL is the only fully flat, all aisle access airline in that list. AF and KL are still upgrading ...

Why are so many quick to rush to the defense of the same? Because based on what is known, the devise is not exclusive to the 787 therefore everyone else must be experiencing the same problem and hiding it as well. Boeing doesn't make them, Rockwell-Collins does. He should complain about them. Um......

Beyond the silliness of how a single sentence is being interpreted; is there some reason we are thinking that the words of a (no doubt well connected) journalist are somehow confirmation of Boeing's eventual strategy? If Ford Mustangs made up 13% of all cars on the road, but Fort Mustangs were involved in 54% of all fatal traffic accidents, I'd expect Ford Mustangs to be pulled over more frequently than other vehicles. If 13% of the population are being shot half as often as 75% of the population, that means the 13% group is being shot far more frequently. It's just simple maths. The way I see it the airline is less polite than before to the majority of their customers. That is anti social isn't it? Re: LAX to end curbside pick-ups by rideshare companies, taxis

LAX can ban ride shares with little push back, because the shuttle can absorb the extra bodies. It could not ban private autos, as the volume of people to move would overwhelm their ability to move them from the drop off to the terminals.
