Re: BA - what are "mixed fleet" crews and why are they on strike?

Tell the BA crew I know that then, they believe they're going on strike over pay. Correct, the strike is about both pay and the perks, both issues are joined as BA removed the perks as a direct result of going on strike in relation to pay. The union and BA came to an agreement about pay and the rei...

Actualthus strike has nothing to do with pay, the union and BA have appareny have agreed on that. This is about perks being removed from those that went on strike earlier, something which has nithing to do wirh pay. The union should actually have to re ballot imho as this is now a different dispute...

Do trips to dangerous locales across the world draw lower seniority pilots and cabin crew? I can only speak as cabin crew but at my airline bidding is not done on seniority, its a preference bidding system, if your preference matches a trip to somewhere 'dangerous' change your bid! And at BA I believe they have the most with 17 cabin crew members.

I wish!

We have 8 on the 787-800 4 for Club World, 4 for World Traveller Plus/World Traveller
On the 787-900 we have 10 2 for First 4 for Club World, 4 for World Traveller Plus/World Traveller
