Last I heard, Boeing has a hiring freeze. Lots of money is going out on the 787 and 747-8, so they are tightening their belts.

Here is an interesting question: what happened to the Iraqi pilot who launched the missiles? The US has occupied Iraq now for seven years. Was he arrested? Is he part of the new Iraq AF?
