Re: Oregon Aviation Thread - 2020

Just got a cancellation notice for my 8/31 PDX-LHR BA flight...I won't be surprised if my 9/10 SEA-LHR BA flight gets cancelled too. The PDX-SEA hop has been cancelled and the BA website is making it nearly impossible to reschedule...They have lovely hold music though :)

It's still available for booking, so yes. But don't expect it to happen.

I fully expect a delay (best hope) or cancellation, but my BA isn't budging about preemptively refunding my two booked itineraries in August and September.

Re: AS & AA Seperation (Essentially) Coming March 1, 2020

Alaska is getting more and more isolated. Not sure how long they can survive on their own. I would disagree about the isolation. I can get pretty much anywhere in the country either direct from PDX or with a stop in SEA or SFO, so the former tie-ins with DL and AA haven't had much impact from my pe...

I'm now seeing the 767-400ER on the PDX-LHR route for summer on DL.com. Going to book that for a trip in July as I believe all the planes will be modded by then with the new suites. Sounds fancy, so, hope it's nice. Flightview is showing a second PDX-LHR flight AF3680/KL6041 beginning next May. Is ...
