Re: Central American Aviation Thread - 2017 (3rd)

SAP has received the 747 several times in both PAX and Cargo services, but not on regular basis.

Re: Boeing officially forms program office to flesh out 797 plans

I like the idea of a 757-300 capacity airliner. Oh yeah, it better look prettier than the 757 (sorry but it's not the best aircraft in terms of looks) How can you write that? Lol...the 757 is one of the best looking planes ever! lol....... What made me fall more in love with the 757 is the height, ...

Re: Air France crew detained after passenger complains “not receiving her upgrade”

Wow...from What I read it seems that AF crew did not deserve to be treated the way they got treated. I hate so much the fact that "rich" entitled people ask for upgrades just because. If you have that much money then BUY your 1st class seat. I once had a passenger that demanded me to put h...

Livery looks great on the 787, but not with the 737, maybe if they paint the Cockpit window frames in black too as the 787.

Re: Central American Aviation Thread - 2017 (2nd Half)

@CRMCPILOT31, do you know who might Fenafuth be looking for La H's rumored charter flight to SYD? I've heard that they had some options already as they rather take a charter than going on scheduled flights, although no names mentioned. I think they want to depart SAP as soon as the game is over at ...

Re: Boeing may consider restarting 767 pax model production

A lot talking about the 763 but isn't the 762 the real MOM size? 250-290 seats is the MOM category. Then you have the 787 for the upper end. Can somebody explain why the 763 would be the best candidate? Is it because the 762 cannot be restarted or maxed, like some say the 763 can? Exactly what I th...

Re: Delta: International Main Cabin dining reinvented

Why not make it an electronic menu using the PTVs instead of wasting paper and people damaging those menu cards....... Now this would be an even better approach. I believe all DLs long haul aircrafts have PTVs, no? I am sure they do...(I worked for DL from 06-10). if that is what they are marketing...

Re: Central American Aviation Thread - 2017 (2nd Half)

By the way, I didn't know about the mentioned flights landing in Roatan from Italy. From Milan as non-stop flights ? Frequencies ? Equipments ? I could be wrong, but the sole runway in the island don't seem too large to accomodate to any long-haul plane comfortably. Regards. They operated with 767s...

Starting november 19. Volaris will add the following routes using A319. GUA-TIJ SAL-TIJ Both routes will be 3 weekly Quite interesting that AV didn't seem to look into SAL-TIJ. Re: Central American Aviation Thread - 2017 (2nd Half)

Could someone elaborate on why DL won't do DTW-SJO nonstop? For a while now, DL has been doing 1 stop service via ATL, most of the time on the 757-200. I don't see why, with connecting opportunities, DL can't make it happen on the A320 or 73H. Don't forget, MSP has nonstop service to LIR on DL, a s...

landing in SAP at 4:00am.[/quote]. I did not realize that was the arrival time. thats horrible. one gets off the plane like a zombie. Costs associated with the flight must be high though.
