The costs are astronomical for the amount of traffic. The Mackenzie river especially has a very wide flood plain and very difficult spring ice break up that often causes massive flooding. Revoke the 1929 apportionment act... Doesn't even need the Senate to approve it, then reapportion the house and EC based on current population, constitutional responsibility of the house... Problem solved.
