The back galley will be reconfigured. Right now you can stow 2 half size trolleys behind each other. With space flex they can accommodate 3 half size trolleys. Galley will move entirely to door 3R.

The angled seat config is especially designed for the 747-8. On Airbus planes only bulkhead rows are angled. All other rows have the "normal" parallel seat config.

The seat has the same width as the old one but just looks slim because of the colors and design.

The maximum size (by IATA) fits under the seat in front of you.

Also concerning weight: safety is an issue. Luggage can be a serious problem in case of an emergency.
