Atlanta is much hotter than Detroit. The aircraft could experience sudden temperature changes going from the very warm southern US (ATL) into a freezing polar environment. I was surprised to see that AF is now down to once daily CDG-TLN vs the 2 daily since inauguration. I have flown the route many times and the flights were packed and often more expensive than the ORY alternative. Why they are now down to One per day from CDG? Régional Fleet shortage? I always wondered why AF's inter-Caribbean A320 service uses MIA as there US port of entry. Could this twice weekly ATL new service be testing the water before switching all flights to ATL?
