Welp...
I had booked ICN MNL ICN for Feb 2022 on Delta.
The booking just disappeared from my profile. No email sent.
I called Delta and they could not transfer me onto one of KE's two daily flights or even sell me seats on those...
Not sure when these two will decide to get along.
Hello all,
I just came across this post (three years later) as I just booked my first trip to PTP. Can you spot from any of the beach hotels in Le Gosier?

Jump to postI recall Delta used to have an Atlanta-Dakar flight some years ago, what happened to it? The actual flight was ATL DKR JNB. I remember flying that loooooong route on a 764. Jump to postNYC, whether it being EWR or JFK is a large part of almost any large carriers operation. ET is no exception to this. While I find that ET has not been to successful with either airport in NYC (yeah, the loads were only in the 50-60%’s for July), should ET consolidate to one airport? EWR an UA hub a...
Jump to postDefinitely futuristic. Not sure I like it, though. The headrest looks like it would be really annoying if I were flying with someone or wanted to look out the window, both of which I do often. But those PTVs look great. Yessss!!! Finally no need for small talk with my neighbor! In all seriousness, ...

We may need a diversion megathread. But if we get one, we need another megathread questioning why we need a diversion megathread.
...Can we wait a few more hours or couple days till we know what really happened that prompted the pilots to do what they did? Nope. That's against the rules. You have to have several pages of outrage, fact-free finger pointing, and blather before any causal facts are permitted. Best post thus far!...

Jump to postInteresting, especially since KLM apparently still has a lot of these triangular routes, thanks for the information I may be completely wrong, its been awhile, but I believe, at least at the time, that both LH and KL, and British Midland (who used to fly an a321 to ADD via CAI) could not offer non ...

CDG-TLN-CDG will be axed starting the winter schedule.
AF has just announced ORY-GVA for the winter season
Before discontinuing the route a few years ago KL flew their A332 to ADD via KRT. At first it was a triangular route AMS-KRT-ADD-AMS. Then it became AMS-KRT-ADD and back the same way it came. I must say as a passenger, the triangular route felt easier. The stop in KRT at Midnight on the return to Eu...
Jump to postRegarding Africa: I am wondering, and I know it is just a speculation at this stage, what would happen to the premium cabins on these news narrow bodies. AF sends wide bodies and charges some of their highest J fares on their West and Central African routes. Ive been on those many times and the load...
Jump to postSCQ83 wrote:AMS-AUS on KL and CDG-MSY on AF seem like the two most logical first routes.
Atlanta is much hotter than Detroit. The aircraft could experience sudden temperature changes going from the very warm southern US (ATL) into a freezing polar environment. These sudden temp fluctuations could possibly compromise aircraft structure. Have you ever flown into Los Angles in the winter?...
Jump to postI for one, as an avgeek, am thrilled to see DL open new A220 routes!!
Whats with all the bashing? Am i missing something political?
FlightLevel360 wrote:This is on the CS100 correct? It seems DL's NY-Texas flights are all getting the new north american bird.
I am perplexed as to when this was announced.
I have been booked on the A220 on both SLC- SFO (in September) and SLC-SNA (in December) for at least three months now...
Isn't the word "suite" a tiny bit of an exaggeration or am I missing something?
Jump to postWell AF is a lowcost-tier airline anyway with their horrible 777-300ER's it will be less confusing for their customers if the too good Superjumbo's are not there to make some uncomfortable comparisons. Which configuration of their 77W have you been on to make such a statement? the COI ones? Did AF ...
Jump to postAlthough I understand what you are talking about, I think you should be more generic in referring to the seats; I.e. a window seat on the left side of the aircraft or a window seat on the right side of the aircraft. On some aircraft configurations, a D seat is an aisle seat; sometimes it is a middl...
Jump to postHello all, I have done a brief search and have not found a thread dedicated to this topic. I guess like most, when i chose a window seat, I like to chose a seat with the best views (not just of the aircraft haha) on finals. 1). Is there any chance the A340 might be replaced by i.e. a regular AF A332 / A359 / B777 by then? I saw some other ex-JOON-A340-destinations are now being replaced by other a/c, so I am hoping CPT will be too. Does anybody have any information on this? I would imagine they would revert to either ...
Jump to postGood evening from sunny San Diego! All fingers and toes crossed here for a DL/AF/KL SAN-CDG/AMS link (3x weekly 332??) :) Reading all the posts above, it does indeed sound like DL AUS-CDG is the most serious contender. What do you all think of MSY-CDG? I somewhat put it in the same leisure category ...

Jump to postDoes the 767-300ER have enough range to fly from SAN to CDG? Maybe Delta could start seasonal service to CDG with the 767-300ER. Does Delta still operate a hub at CDG? Jump to postI was surprised to see that AF is now down to once daily CDG-TLN vs the 2 daily since inauguration. Probably yes!!...

Toulon is getting some traction lately, also with new flights to CDG (double daily) and CPH. I was recently in TLN for my first time and the terminal is quite big (specially when compared to some other "similar" airports like FNI) and looked quite deserted. Lots of room to grow there. May...

Jump to postI always wondered why AF's inter-Caribbean A320 service uses MIA as there US port of entry. Could this twice weekly ATL new service be testing the water before switching all flights to ATL? Or is this a response to DY? On a side note I will be on the MIA - PTP flights in October for my honeymoon!! :)
Jump to postThanks all for your knowledgable input. I always saw the switch from CDG to ORY that flybe for AF did on the LCY route many years ago as an attempt to connect LCY to the rest of France. Jump to postEcho the sentiment of Row 2 vs. 1, flew the 75S up front last year JFK-LAX and had a nice ride in 2A.
