In my airline passengers using crew seats is a no. We will let them sit on one during the flight if they aren't feeling well or coming to talk to the crew in the galley but if the seatbelt sign is on etc then they must be in a passenger seat.

Palmair in the UK use to fly the B732 from Bournemouth to the Canary Islands. I know depending on the weather sometimes a fuel stop was needed on the return leg. They have only stopped recently as an B735 now flies the route.

You could see if on Check in at Manchester they could tag your bags through to your final destination for you. They might not be able but you could always ask.That way the airlines will know your final destination.

Recording Flights

I was just wondering how everyone keeps a record of all their flights taken, i've started both a hardcopy journal and a basic excel file (and flight memory and ba97). I prefer the excel as its easier to keep and update but the journal looks nicer but was wondering how everyone else keeps their log.
