Flying transatlantic, the last thing I want to do is have to worry about all the incidental sevices and coats. Having to plan to bring my own food is a hassle, especially if there are connections needed prior to boarding the transoceanic flight. Agree 100% - the airlines make millions in profit yet...

Hold your excitement people both BUD and PRG will be gone after the summer season. There is just not enough demand for the routes. US turists that go there usually start somewhere else and make an extension via train or intra-European flight.Mediocre business at best. VCE and BCN could probably stay...

MNL was rumored some time ago, but it may be awhile before we see a PR aircraft @ ORD. I would say ORD would be set to get something from AA sooner than any item on that wish list. Poland has exploding charter market and only three major players (Enter Air, Travel Service and Small Planet) which are not that strong. Western Europe is saturated by TUI, Thomas Cook, Monarch etc.

Separate AOC? That's what it is being said. The unit is supposed to be fairly independent from the mainline FR operations. No word yet as to how the planes are going to look like inside and what livery. Personally I think that FR model for charters could be ok on flights up to 2-3 hours, on longer ...

They have enough traffic to Australia and South-East Asia to send A380. Anyways, I doubt all their A380 are flying full even from more demanding routes.

You will clear customs and immigration in London. You need to take a terminal train from T3 to T1 and switch to UP train to Union Station. The ticket is $12 CAD each way and takes about 23 minutes.

LO is not starting new routes to satisfy Polish diaspora, but to carry pax from point A to B via WAW. WAW these days boasts faster and easier connection than FRA, CDG or LHR.

Air China is said to start PEK-WAW in September, but not sure how they could dramatically benefit if indeed they buy a stake in LO. You do not see much benefit on part of KE from buying OK. We'll see what happens next.

I saw this on 6 o'clock news today. it looks like this is a unified project that will take several years to complete with expansion of concourse L and M as the initial start.
T2 was crying to be replaced with a modern structure giving passenger more space and services. It looks good.
