If Airbus sent these components to Mirabel, added a screw or two etc to the parts then sent them to Mobile (or "assemble" in Canada the presently non N American components sent from EU to AL ), does that make it Canadian and not subject to tariffs? Though the transport cost may be almost ...Jump to post
Thank you both!
Does this fight the bill better in terms of sharpness? I am trying to not overdo it and increase it gradually!

Hey Guys, After a long hiatus from the site due to life "stuff" I thought I would get back into the swing of maybe uploading a bit! The only thing is A) I have been away for ages and B) I am now using a new laptop, to which I may not quite have gotten used to. As such, could I get some tho...Jump to post
Looking at my Acceptances (or lack thereof) in 2017 and 2016, it becomes a bit obvious that my activity on the site dropped significantly after the changes that were made a few years back. In light of that, my actual favorite shots of 2017 weren't even uploaded sadly :( That being said, of the whopp...Jump to post
I will admit, I have been more than pleased with my 6D Mark II after picking it up from Adorama on a great Black Friday sale last Month. Although from reading this thread it would seem like perhaps I should return it  I have found the AF to be accurate and fast enough for my uses, even using ...Jump to post

Hey Guys, I have been having some (new) camera woes as of late, and of course I found myself with a super rare movement and nothing to shoot it with by my not-so-sharp new camera ( see this thread for details on that... http://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1377847 ) I would really ...Jump to post
Good evening, I was hoping to maybe get some thoughts/input from the group. I recently became the owner of a Canon-refurbished 7D Mark II, as what seemed like a deserving replacement to my 6 year old and well used 7D. Took it out today and the results were ... well somewhat alarming. With my 7D, I n...Jump to post
Definitely a cool topic! Two of my shots come to mind as being the most challenging for me to take. First was this shot of an AeroUnion P-3A Firebomber in California. The whole story would take way too long to relate here, but amidst a camping trip, a forest fire, and an eventual evacuation, this sh...Jump to post

Awesome, thanks guys! I was more puzzled by the centered rejection on this one <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/graphics/smilies/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" border="0"/> Dark is an easy fix in this case, so hopefully I will get it re-uploaded soon! Hey Guys, I would love some feedback on a photo. It seems every time I feel like I am getting back into stride... I have a batch of photos that reeducates me. Thanks for the input guys! I toned down the brightness and pushed the contrast. It's a bit wonky in terms of conditions with all the sawdust from the construction, but I really like the shot and would love to see it on the site <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/graphics/sm...Jump to post
Hey Guys, I have a somewhat unusual shot that I would like to get thoughts on. My initial instinct is that there is no way that this shot would be accepted here, but recalling a few photos of unique situations with obstructions, I decided I would at least ask. I was lucky enough to be on hand for th...Jump to post
Hey Guys, This is a thought I have been kicking around for a few weeks now that I wanted to maybe get some input on. I also wanted to wait long enough that I didn't get accused of trying to drive up hits or views on a photo of mine that is involved in this question. Back in December, I had the good ...Jump to post

Hello All, I would love some thoughts/help on some photos of mine. I have had the damndest time getting photos taken from this place to feel level. Hey Guys, Later this week I am headed to Thailand for the first time, and it looks as though I will have some time to kill near the airport before my flight back to Sydney. Just to share a recent experience (and to see if any others had the same issue). Like others, I had my images in the queue disappear for a while, replaced by the default image. Korpenko, I am actually studying in Sydney at the moment, and similarly am restricted to using buses. Hey guys, Thanks for the input. The only rejection reasons were Distance and Centered. I ultimately did end up appealing it a few minutes ago. Nothing to lose, right? Hello All, I was hoping to get some input on a recent rejection. Hey Guys, I have a quick question. Yesterday I appealed a rejection, something I don't do quite often enough to know the process intimately.
