Latch won't move until that switch is activated, and that switch mechanically moves a bunch of stuff in the door that basically locks the door in with the rest of the lav frame making it immobile and much safer for when...

I just visited last week. All the major tourist spots on the Dutch side are in great shape. I explored off the beaten path on the French side and there's still plenty of devastation and rebuilding going on. But 100% an extremely lovely island with absolutely lovely people.

I’m thinking the reason (or one of them) they added Mobile is to put the airplanes coming off the assembly to good use instead of ferrying them empty to DEN. Actually disregard my prior post. After another look through, it actually looks like the time posted is adjusted for time zone of wherever the ACARS receiver was. Just looking out of YYZ since you didn't specify where in Canada, AA1259 and AA2588 to DFW seem to be the best bet, with DL2551 to ATL and DL1997 to MSP seeming to sporadically have them.
