N544LA did an air test today, in an all white scheme, should be doing another one tomorrow together with N392AN. I have a feeling 544 will also go to CagoJet (only CJT paint their aircraft like this in TLV prior delivery), we shall see.

N390AA just arrived in ILN from storage in ROW today (10/19/20). CAM bought it 4 days ago, as our friend MO11 pointed out. On a scheduled basis, this makes no business case for LY. It does make perfect sense for EK/FZ and EY/G9/5W. The business case is for travelers going east to eastern Asia and Australasia. Highloader hit the cargo door, the aircraft is ferrying to TLV at 9000' due to compression problems, the routing is to avoid terrain (Alps).

Apparently IAI is having a hard time getting the 737-800BDSF certified by the FAA, this along with the other 738 prototype N916SC (now enroute to PWM via SNN) as well are being stored until IAI Bedek will be able to certify them as the are short of space at their TLV facility.

Both N392UP and N830WE were seen in TLV outside the hangar complete with green SCD doing high power engine run ups this week. Test flights should begin in a few weeks if all goes according to plan.

US/AA's problem with the TLV flights was the wrong equipment. Flights were full all the time (also up front- and fares were not cheap either), but the A330-200 just couldn't take any cargo from TLV most of the time which killed the route.

N354AA is basically almost done, saw it a few days ago being pushed back from the hangar into the engine run up bay, looks pretty sweet in that old AA livery and green side cargo door.
