Re: Condor and its links to Thomas Cook

Sooo...since DE is trying to leave the Thomas Cook group for good...if they survive this winter season and find a new owner/owners, they will need to ditch the sunny heart tail/ livery.
Additional expenses that will eat into the profit/loan.

For the people here who dismiss the Brexit as a major reason for their downfall: believe me, it's true. Time for Airbus to install inflight refuelling probes and get a fleet of commercial MRTT tankers up there ! ;-) Cool idea...but believe me, inflight refuelling isn't much fun when sitting in the back, even when you have an experienced pilot at the controls. That makes me guess that there will be no big changes on the fuselage. Would be much effort to cover the whole tail (something like the Joon style) with stickers. Bet also, they will ferry it in the middle of the night! Negative...latest landing possible is 23:59local due to the night curfew at FRA...

Would have loved to see the P-8s in the German Navy as well...instead we went for the old P-3s the Dutch sold us...and laughed their butts off afterwards...

That P-8 plattform might be one hell of a deal when it comes to replacing the E-3 and E-8 fleet in the not too distant future.
