Jump to postIs the new AUH terminal ever going to open? That would give EY a much better ground product than the current one, which lags far behind DXB and DOH.
Jump to postWondering how public opinion in Greece over the potentially even worse desaster will maybe lead to a EU-ban of such overflights (and maybe even denying landing in case of an emergency)? Jump to postJust a little remark, last night I added a photo of Emirates' new "50 years of UAE" livery on A6-EVG - a special livery that noone had even heard about - and after a (IMHO) petty rejection for being dark, it is now sitting in the queue for 12 hours... I think the website is missing an oppo...

Jump to postI'm not an aerospace engineer, but possibly the long-range, high cruise speed and high altitude Gulfstream business jets are not the ideal base for a lightweight regional jet. They would probably have to start from scratch.
On the other hand, Canadair did it with the Challenger.
I’m not going to express an opinion on whether I like the suggested options of the globe being expanded over the rear fuselage. My only observation is based on decades of seeing the Qantas livery, which has design similarities to the proposal. The complexity of the rear fuselage shapes quickly dist...

Jump to postHey guys, In the current edition of Airliner World, there's an article on Ilyushin's wide bodied jets. Jump to postI've actually read in some old Air International magazines that I came across that the Soviets were interested in several western models. Jump to postI have the same body/lens combo for about a year now and have been very happy with it, the Mk 2 lens was in my case a huge improvement over my 15 year old Mk 1 version.
The 7D unfortunately tends to be on the noisy side - today I received my 7D Mk 2 which seems to be a bit better in that regard.
Well those seats would be more than 7 years old, probably an older, heavier, thicker generation not suitable for a LCC.
