Well, a 180is needed it seems to go back to the apron. Right turn .. did the pilot make a left turn by mistake?Jump to post
Thanks Paul, interesting thought as well! Will use that!
All, I am playing with the idea of making an object, referring to the 747 queen of the sky. The object could be anything, like a piece of jewelry. But, the object does not necessarliy need to be a plane like thing. E.g. it can be a special model of an Audi , like the Audi A4-747 ... what I am lookin...Jump to post

Does this A340 incident not count?
All, The 787, the 747-8 and the E-190 amongst others have a very distinctive, serrated engine nacelle, which I believe has a very positive effect on noise reduction. Since noise reduction is always welcomed on a plane, I was wondering why no modifications are offered to allow for such a serrated nac...Jump to post
All, I am frustrated. All of a sudden, my pictures are only half sharp. Let me explain what I mean. When I shoot a 737 landing, the part after the engines is sharp, but all before the engine is not. I tried several shots today, no luck. Only half of the shot is sharp. I monitored aperture, shuttter ...Jump to post
All, I was wondering if there is a site where I can get [some] info technical delays? A friend of mine was on a flight yesterday, delayed for 2,5 hours as a sensor needed to be replaced to get rid of an erroneous 'transit light' ; I was wondering if this info can be found anywhere Thanks! All, during my very regular visits to airports and flying weekly, I was thinking: why, as to save fuel, don't the aircraft taxi on one engine ( on a 2 engine bird) or at least the minimum number required to taxi? I have seen not too many examples of jest taxiing on one engine; I was on a KLM 737 rec...Jump to post
All, I have a question. After take-off, and the engines have performed on high rev, at some point you can hear the sound change of the engines, as if power is reduced. If it is indeed a power reduce, what is the reason for that? Is it to avoid noise or has it another purpose? Thanks for any reply. M...Jump to post
All, I am looking for a model of an airplane push truck. The son of my friend, the son is 4 years, desperately wants a model. I cant find anything out there, but that doesn't mean it is not there. Keep it on. Nice shot, nice vapour, action, speed, it has it all. Who cares that it is not super sharp? This one makes me go "YES ...Jump to post

Do you mean that they landed on Rwy 36R instead of 16L ?
If one side is 36R, then the other is 18L. Could be a typo, just felt I needed to correct this. Always 180 degrees difference in direction on one runway.
