There is a normal aisle there.... its actually a great seating area as there is less people around you (more privacy)... However, from a crew point of view, it is aweful.... You can hear EVERYTHING going on around in the bunks... from babies crying to passenger conversations to call bells ringing......

Yes it was a very interesting ride to say the least.... I was in the crew bunks at the time and nearly kissed the roof a few times!!! Seemed to go on for a long time too.... Would have hated to have known what it was like on anything smaller than the 380!

At EK, moving up through each cabin is seen as a promotion, with a lot more service training involved. So yes, there is quiet a lot of pay difference between Y and J and then from J to F.
