(Hopefully, I don't get ripped/slammed by the Trolls) I Love seeing airlines taking advantage of Fifth Freedom Flights. MIA to BOG is definitely a heavy market. However, I think it would be better to have chosen a secondary city like MCO. (I Believe) Currently, AV is the only nonstop in the market....

Despite the fact that the A343 can fly nonstop from Columbia to Europe (Lufthansa uses it on BOG-FRA nonstop, along with previously Air France on BOG-CDG), Edelweiss is choosing a stopover at a lower altitude airport in Columbia. Same with other leisure destinations like Cancun, Punta Cana, and Montego Bay. It is likely that Rouge will take it back on after the crisis but it should maintain BOG as mainline with the idea of offering a more up to par service with Avianca
