Hi everyone, I'm flying through DFW on May 11th and 25th, and as an AA Plat flying international I'm entitled to Admirals Club and Flagship Lounge access. While I'm connecting through LAX and am excited to visit the Flagship lounge in T4, I'm really hoping the DFW Flagship Lounge will be open by the...Jump to post

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've posted and I hope everyone's doing well. I have been quite busy with school recently, and with the MCAT coming up in April, I've barely had the time to sit down and edit my shots. I went out to XNA last Friday though, and I got a few that I felt deserved edi...Jump to post
Here's my last regular season post for this thread: a WN B738 flew to COU full of Arkansas players for the Battle Line Rivalry at Mizzou the next day: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/SWA8060/history/20181122/2030Z/KXNA/KCOU Woo pig sooie! Let's try to not end 2-10 on the season! Still disappoin...Jump to post
I want to say it was around 2012. I think the last airplane to wear it was either the CRJ-700 or the E120.Jump to post
Hi everyone, My friend is planning to connect via LAX on her journey to Thailand from AA to CZ, and CZ to AA on the way back. I have a few questions regarding what she'll have to go through at LAX. 1. Regarding an XNA-LAX-CAN-CNX itinerary, would her checked bags go all the way to her final destinat...Jump to post

Woo pig sooie! Let's get that Golden Boot!
Nick's photo is linked below. I was with him when he posted the above message, hence why I have access to his photo.
Superb TR. I flew on 2451 and 926 back in May, both times in F. Your pics brought back good memories.
Super cool that you got to see the China Airlines A350 in BZE. A catch of a lifetime in such an exotic location.
Hi everyone, Back in 2015, I spotted extensively at LHR and spent many hours at the Thistle Hotel. I'm headed back there for one night next month (8/16) and am staying at the hotel, but I just read that photography is no longer permitted on the terrace. Has anyone tried to take pictures there since ...Jump to post
Great report, and it is VERY cool that you got to see Ed Bastian!Jump to post
Awesome report. Food looks great!Jump to post
Cool TR man! I used to fly AA's ERJs frequently on FSM-DFW-FSM until it was switched to a CR2/7/9 route in 2014. I miss the 1x2 seating arrangement, and you're right, it's great to be on the left if you're traveling alone! :) Also - it looks like AA added new seat covers to the 145 fleet. They look ...Jump to post
XNA-DFW is getting one A319 rotated through this summer on what is normally an all-RJ route. XNA from DFW has had mainline off and on. At one point, I believe they actually had two daily MD80s. From what I can recall it's been years since anything has been regularly scheduled. Correct. Apart from W...Jump to post
Great TR. Loved how you made the most of your travel disruptions.Jump to post

Hi all, thanks for the lovely comments!Jump to post
Huge XNA fan and sophomore at the University of Arkansas here. I'm thrilled at the amount of attention our little airport gets on this forum. :) My analytical chemistry professor is from the CVG area and was a regular on the route. Maybe I should wait until final grades are posted before I give her...Jump to post

777jet and oldannyboy, thank you for your wonderful comments!
777Jet: Oh, c'mon... the 787 wasn't that bad. Give it a shot, I dare you.
Oldannyboy: I hope you enjoy your ride on it. It's a marvelous airplane to fly on.
Great photos too! I envy you for getting the tour of that 747! How awesome to be able to take a tour of the inside of the DL 744! Hey InnsbruckFlyer and 767747! Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, it was certainly wonderful. :) Welcome to our great Country! Great read. Whilst the AA 787 looks good, ...Jump to post
Hi everyone! Welcome to the first installment of my Winter 2018 adventure to Australia and New Zealand. Over the course of about three weeks, I indulged in activities that I hold near and dear to me, including plane spotting with good friends, hanging out with other “non-nerdy” friends, and studying...Jump to post

When I click on the link, it tells me that I don't have permission to view the full size photo.
Nice panning, though!
Hey everyone, It's been a while since I've posted here. I hope you're all doing well. I've been quite busy recently living the pre-med life in college, balancing school, volunteering, research, social life, etc. I try to go out and shoot as much as I can, but I find it increasingly difficult to find...Jump to post

Nice report, bud. Great shots from ORD. I remember getting most of those snapchats from you, lol. Very glad you got to ride on the rugby plane.Jump to post
How about DFW? The route has been 744/77W exclusive over the past few years, and think a OW hub-hub flight like it could surely fill up enough to warrant a 380.Jump to post
XNA for American Eagle
In all seriousness - our little airport has nonstop service to LAX, DFW, ORD, CLT, DCA, and LGA with Eagle. I know they're operated by different carriers, but that's still impressive. Focus city status would be something.
Hey CollegeAviator, What an awesome report! I read through it slowly and deliberately, thoroughly enjoying everything that you put forth so much effort into sharing with us. I flew AA55 (MAN-ORD) in July 2015 on a 767-300ER in the retrofit J seat. Undoubtedly one of the most comfortable flights of m...Jump to post
For the first time in a long time (or possibly ever) the Razorbacks won't be leaving out of Fayetteville's Drake Field (FYV) for away games this year. In the past, AA sent 752s to pick them up, but with their numbers dwindling, they sent an A319 and a few A321s last year. Apparently, the A321's perf...Jump to post
Hey Genius12, Great report and pictures. I love reports like these, very well-written and accompanied by a lot of great photos. Well done. As an AA fanboy, I was especially interested in this report and read it all the way through. I'm not sure the size of the Flagship lounge at JFK is up to the num...Jump to post
I don't know if I'm on board with this. I travel for spotting quite a bit and would hate to keep updating the date and time settings on my camera. I travel extensively as well and I find it causes me more confusion if I don't keep my camera date & time correct. It's not as though changing it ta...Jump to post
Hey A318, thanks for the nice comment! I didn't know AY had a JFK base. That's cool. Why did they ax it? Interesting to hear that you worked A6-LRD multiple times. What did you think of it and EY's other 777-200LRs? I've flown on their -300ER but never the ex-AI birds. Will let you know the next tim...Jump to post
2) Can the photo date be 'auto-filled' from the image EXIF data on the upload page? This is used by another site and makes uploading there a simpler process. It will be nice! Option 2 is certainly better. Gives the photographer more control and decreases the amount of time the developers have to spend on it. It's important to consider the main reason why many of us want EXIF data to be visible when making this decision. I don't really care about seeing a sunny side-on's ...Jump to post

Hey Bostrom, It is a very impressive bridge/tunnel. Did you get to cross it? Unfortunately, no. I hadn't even heard of it until I saw it from the air. 43 minutes? Is that normal at JFK? At peak rush hour, absolutely. Stevend08, At DFW we hand out the orange sleeves to pax who are under the MCT (90mi...Jump to post
Hey HELyes, First off - I love the username!! :) Yeah, it really is a pity. I loved the A333 but I've never flown on the 350 and would've loved to try it on this route. Havana, Puerto Plata, and Puerto Vallerta? Seems like a bit of a waste for such a lovely aircraft, IMHO. About the new Goa service,...Jump to post
Hey CollegeAviator, thanks for the wonderful comments! Didn't know AY flew to Mumbai - wonder why they axed it? I figured it would be a popular route, considering they currently serve Delhi. About A6-LRD, lol. I wouldn't want to fly on it either, considering it's a hand-me-down airplane from AI. Add...Jump to post
