hen another announcement was made that they needed the assistance of any doctors that might be onboard the plane. Now I've worked as an EMT for over five years and I had completed 1.5 years of medical school by then, but thankfully someone else stepped up and I didn't need to be called into action ...Jump to post
Pretty surprised at LIT-PHX, considering that AA loves XNA a whole lot more and they've never gotten PHX.Jump to post

I'm only 22, but I feel the utmost sense of nostalgia towards this one. This represents the happiest moments of my childhood... listening to this jingle on the safety video of a proudly-chrome Boeing out of DFW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XVnfu7Drfc "We know why you fly. Amrit, When did this occur? Also, please resubmit the image into the Priority Screening Queue with a comment that explains the background and my request for Priority Screening. I want the developers to have access to the currently corrupt image without replacing it with a new image. Sorry for the t...Jump to post
I was referred to this thread by a database editor for a corrupted image of mine.
"I have photos taken when I was about 5 that look like that". In other words there's nothing to distinguish it from a simple holiday snap someone quickly took for posterity. Thanks for your brutal honesty... :D I'm giving another angle of AF1 one final try before settling for a run-of-the...Jump to post
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well in this uncertain time. It's been a while since I've posted in here, but I just got two rejections that I would like to talk about with y'all. :) I'm currently at 499 photos on the database and with Donald Trump's visit to nearby Tulsa this weekend, I figur...Jump to post
Thanks for the comments! Azstar, I pm'd you to get more information about this Ani individual. My buddy is curious, since Siebenmorgen is such a rare name!Jump to post
Not shocked at all by DL and FSM...I had been expecting that cut in every weekly schedule update thread from Enilria. XNA only has 1x daily to ATL. There's no way that FSM needs the same frequency (albeit a CR9 versus CR2). Prior to the current situation FSM was only 2x to ATL on CR2s. They tried a...Jump to post
Thanks for the kind words!! And haha yes, I figure you would understand as a person of Desi heritage!

It was taken after sunset, and I feel it may be underexposed a little.
I am concerned about the ratio, already sitting at 50%. Does it affect future uploads? I have learnt a lot in my 14 years of A.net membership, but only have 3 static upload of heli's only. :) Doubt it. I have 488 images on the site and I'm sitting at 56% right now. Don't beat yourself up. AmritJump to post

I do USM200-300 at 0.2, but I suppose it's personal preference. I think it's up to you if you want to add more sharpening or reduce the size of the image. I generally decide what I want to do based on the general beauty of the shot. If it's a sunny side-on AA 737 I'll reduce the size. But if it's a ...Jump to post
This photo was rejceted three times This was rejected for Oversharpened and dirty. https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/airliners/5/2/3/5928325.jpg?v=v4bc3d272632 I deleted the spots/background traffic and I reduced sharpening. I had photo rejected, even after Head screener @jelpee thought those were passable. :( This is version, I edited for a little bit more contrast. https://i.ibb.co/tbQjMbM/IMG-2885-SS.jpg It happens, buddy. Screeners are humans too. They won't agree with each other 100% of the time. It's just the way...Jump to post
Is it edited good enough or any particular issues. https://i.ibb.co/6PpjWjT/IMG-2885.jpg Looks okay to me. Picky, but I think its a tad soft, and a brightness boost wouldn't hurt. With that said, I'm not used to shooting/editing darker paint schemes, so take my advice with a grain of salt.Jump to post
Is there any other correction to adjust softness besides adding more sharpening? Reducing the image size can help. I see this shot is at 1300 wide. Perhaps you might try her out at 1024 or 1200? With that said, I don't think she's substantially soft/blurry. How much USM did you apply to this shot? ...Jump to post

Hi friends! Welcome to my second trip report of 2020, featuring my onward journey for my two-week long trip through northern Vietnam and Cambodia through the middle part of May 2019. I was privileged enough to travel through these areas with my best friend, Maya, who had just completed a semester in...Jump to post
Thanks for the comments, everyone! Much appreciated! Congratulations! Right now I'm going to Ben Gurion University in Israel, though I'm also on 5 American wait lists, so who knows where I'll be (or I'll be Zooming to) in a few months. Thanks bro! Good luck to you! Howdy there! As a second-semester senior in college, the events of the past month have drastically transformed my fast-paced, always-busy life into one of monotony and boredom. As a pre-medical Honors student at the University of Arkansas, I have lived an exciting four years, seemingly always busy w...Jump to post
On top of that, the differences you see could also be caused by the color settings on the camera that took the photo, or whatever corrections the photographer made when processing the image in Lightroom. Can confirm, I changed up the hue a little bit in Photoshop on the 77W. And thanks for the plug...Jump to post
I'm with ya. I had a shot of several AA 787s parked at TUL that was deprioritized and rejected. To be fair, it did get rejected for other reasons as well. I think all COVID-related aviation occurrences should qualify for priority screening, but maybe that's just me.Jump to post
We keep thinking we've seen the last of her at XNA, but our daily A319s are frequently subbed out for them. Next Saturday's (8/31) flight is quite likely going to be her last visit to our airport, and it's going to be bittersweet spotting her out here for the very last time.Jump to post

Hey man, great report. Living near FSM and having family in Chennai, I've done the DFW-LHR-MAA segments many times. Always a good time, though DFW-HKG-MAA is also a nice option.Jump to post
