For what its worth, I wouldn't go with the 7D and wait and see if the rumours/specs of the 7D mk II are real. The 7D is not the best - its a bit too grainy....

I have one, and its good, but the image quality could be better....

70-200mm is good for a lot of things! I personally don't like Tamron stuff, but that's me. Sigma is ok, but if you have Nikon, the the Nikon glass.
