Re: Emirates is exploring switching the Airbus A380 to A350

too late , they should have ordered a350 and they had two chances and they blew it and now they have to live with it. I believe the last round of A380s that Emirates ordered are contingent on engine contracts and performance enhancements that aren't forthcoming - see the actual article on Bloomberg...

Always fun watching how religious morals hold up when they're pitted against cold hard cash. Please show the Torah prohibitions on gambling and drinking? Re: Should the government regulate minimum seating space

No. The market made up of consumers and airlines can figure this out better and more efficiently than the government can. Let government work on a broke postal system, the VA, education, military procurement, military readiness, etc. and get those things right before it expands further into our lives.

Always convenient when they call strike far enough out that passengers can rebook or make alternate plans like flying the ME3. Good grief. Sometimes I wonder if the ME3 actually pay the leaders of the European unions to call strikes.

Cabin interior panels are only the surface of what you see. Behind them is insulation and frames and stringers holding the fuselage together. To get a wider fuselage interior, the 777x has re shaped the frames. These are the structural pieces holding the airplane together. You can't retrofit smalle...
