RE: Which Crashes Haunt You?

I'd say TWA800 for one, that's a freak event and although rare it is a horrifying way for a plane crash to happen, with no warning. Also, AA587 because knowbody really knows what caused that... and also a lot of conspiracy about both crashes.

On fraps it seems you can only get uncompressed 30 second videos unless you PAY for it. How does anyone here create longer videos if they are using it for free, let alone compress them? I'd like to post some videos of my JAL 747-200 flight coming up in a few days.

EVERYBODY used to fly on narrowbodies across the atlantic before the 747. What's the big deal. Your seat is just as bloody big! I would prefer a narrowbody plane because there are no damn center seats. The idea that widebodies are more comfortable for long haul is an illusion.

Simple. Find out the average fuel flow of your aircraft per hour, work out the length of your flight, load the required fuel, then add an extra hour's fuel for reserve. Of course there's a bit more to it than that but you know what I mean. Basically, fuel flows (avg) I use on <acronym title="STAF Ar...

Low for me would be less than 12-15, normally it's locked at 30fps and tends to be between 20-30fps. When I fly the CS 707 it drops to about 10fps.
