Re: Air Canada A320 cabin

Just flew from HNL to YEG via YVR yesterday. While the cabin on the 737 Max (HNL-YVR) looks much more spacious and the IFE is great, the seats were not as comfortable as the seats on the A319 (YVR-YEG). I agree with another comment about the cabin lights on the Airbus fleet. Our outbound A319 had br...

Thanks. I always thought the 734 and 738 were the same size. Is the 733 the same size as the 737?

Is there a reason why Flair Air has not put 189 seats in their Boeing 737-400 fleet to increase their yields? I believe a 734 can accommodate the same number of seats as a 738 used by Swoop.

Has WestJet lost its way?

WestJet started out as a scrappy 3 aircraft airline flying to a few cities in Western Canada. Its formula was simple. Fly a low cost airline that would bring travel to the masses at prices people could afford. It has grown into a well respected airline, especially in Canada. Their model was based on...

Great news although the AC 787 Y class is really infamous. It is a fixture on the YVR to YYZ route and it's unbearable on such a medium haul flight. Can't imagine doing 10 hours in agony. With 220+ seats, I think you would be looking at a 29" seat pitch which would be brutal on a long haul flight. I have been on an Air Canada Rouge A319 with 29" pitch and it was awfully tight.
