Another one starting with Y but not in Canada is YIP. It is called Willow Run Airport, Detroit but is more closer to Ypsilanti, MI.

Are you sure you heard it correct? I would think it is "payload" and not "payroll".

I believe Delta had removed the boarding zone signage during Covid and are just about to bring them back.
