If the image licensing option of the Flickr account in question is set to allow commercial usage then that's probably why it was used. However, you should still have been contacted to obtain the image credit (this usually happens via Flickr's internal mail in my experience). If the image license is ...

RE: Quality Yet Affordable Camera For Photography?

Hello Seamus, How do you define high quality? If we assume you want a basic digital SLR and zoom lens, unfortunately 200€ isnt going to be enough for new equipment, you will need to look at second hand i'm afraid. If you dont want/need an SLR then you might be interested in a zoom bridge camera of w...

Hi Steve,

Pot luck i'm afraid, i've had a blank day previously, very frustrating. Obviously the weather will be a big factor in how much low level flying takes place.

Might be at Cad West myself this week, weather permitting of course.

Ok, I'll start the ball rolling. All of these are static shots, i've never yet mananged to get a half decent shot of an aircraft in flight with a compact. Its also worth mentioning that these are what would be considered higher end compacts with good quality fast-ish lenses. Fuji X10 <a href="http:/...

Morgan, You will struggle to get decent shots with a bridge camera, the poor focussing speed and shutter lag are the killers. However don't let that put you off going and trying your luck. Be aware that things are fluid as far as spotting locations go at the southern end of the field, the runway extension works aren't quite finished yet so spots may come and go. <a href="http://www.flyintobhx.co.uk/spottinglocations.html" ...
