Just need clarification if the slight obstruction of the right hand engine cowling is acceptable or not.

If the image licensing option of the Flickr account in question is set to allow commercial usage then that's probably why it was used. However, you should still have been contacted to obtain the image credit (this usually happens via Flickr's internal mail in my experience). If the image license is ...Jump to post
Hello Seamus, How do you define high quality? If we assume you want a basic digital SLR and zoom lens, unfortunately 200€ isnt going to be enough for new equipment, you will need to look at second hand i'm afraid. If you dont want/need an SLR then you might be interested in a zoom bridge camera of w...Jump to post
Regarding the earlier thread, I feel responsible for having the image removed so I thought it was only right to post a link to Rutger's new correctly sized version .... still a great shot! <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/graphics/smilies/bigthumbsup.gif" width="33" heigh...Jump to post
Hi All, Just seen this photo on the site (and a cracking shot it is too). <a href="http://www.airliners.net/photo/Centurion-Air-Cargo/Boeing-747-428F-ER-SCD/2622876/L/&sid=cf0df04b9d2dbfa7b70b3f24d3d20934" target="_blank">http://www.airliners.net/photo/Centu...d=cf0df04b9d2dbfa7b70b3f24d3d20934<...Jump to post
Hi all, Although I already have a photo of one in the database, I can't remember if the Gannet should be indicated as a single engined prop or not on the photo upload page. Technically it has two engines and two props and can be flown on one engine. Any takers? Regards, Elmdon<br><br>[Edited 2015-03...Jump to post
Ok, I'll start the ball rolling. All of these are static shots, i've never yet mananged to get a half decent shot of an aircraft in flight with a compact. Its also worth mentioning that these are what would be considered higher end compacts with good quality fast-ish lenses. Fuji X10 <a href="http:/...Jump to post
Morgan, You will struggle to get decent shots with a bridge camera, the poor focussing speed and shutter lag are the killers. However don't let that put you off going and trying your luck. Also, the weather in the Welsh hills can be horrible, especially in Autumn/Winter. Check the weather forecast b...Jump to post
A quick question for any screeners around. I have a couple of shots of the remains of Dornier 5K+AR in its hydration tunnels at RAF Cosford. Although the aircraft is recognisable, the photos aren't A1 quality due to the constant spray of citric solution directed onto the airframe. Would these stand ...Jump to post
Regaviation, have a look here, tells you all you need to know. Be aware that things are fluid as far as spotting locations go at the southern end of the field, the runway extension works aren't quite finished yet so spots may come and go. <a href="http://www.flyintobhx.co.uk/spottinglocations.html" ...Jump to post
Hi All, How about this one, worth a go with this crop? Colour might also be an issue bearing in mind the late afternoon light. <a href="http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/f1380479713.8999vt-and_4.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/b...ready/f1380479713.8999vt-and_4.jpg...Jump to post

Something a bit different from me. Could someone give me any feedback on this one please?
Hiya Yerbol, I've had this lens for 2yrs+ now, and i have to say that its a good performer and sharp all the way through the zoom range especially at f8 and smaller. I get some colour fringing at the edges of the frame but nothing that can't easily be fixed in <acronym title="Jet Aviation Business J...Jump to post
Hi Chris, Have a look at this thread, all the information is still good for the next couple of months at least. The construction of the runway extension in 2012 will undoubdtedy change some of the photography locations. <i><a href="/aviation-forums/aviation_photography/read.main/360022" target="_bla...Jump to post

bustin, You need to download and install the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in version 4.6, this version is for CS3 and supports raw files from your D90. It's absolutely essential that you follow the installation instructions in the read-me file. <a href="http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftp...Jump to post
