Re: 2019 NFL Charters Thread

The Buffalo Bills are heading down now to Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) in case anyone is in the neighborhood and wants to see a United 767-424(ER). The plane is operating as flight UA2532 and scheduled to arrive at 12:41pm. The Carolina Panthers are hosting the Bills this week for joint practices an...

Re: Should airline regulators consider grounding B737 MAX series

Seems like if there was any indication that the Ethiopian crash was due to anything other than flight control problems, airlines would not be pulling them out of service. Re: Should airline regulators consider grounding B737 MAX series

I think once this is all figured out, Boeing is going to have to rename the 737-MAX series into something else. Too may non-aviation people are now familiar with the MAX and associating it with crashing. One newspaper headline coined it the "death plane". It may not be right, but I wouldn'...

Re: Alaska Airlines flight diversion leads to 30-hr nightmare for passengers

Number 1: Good job pilots for landing safely. Number 2: The BUF portion was handled just about as well as I see any diversion to an airport the involved airline doesn’t serve late in the day would go. Was security even open to get food into the terminal? Do Pilots/FA’s carry company credit cards to...

So props to the Alaska crew for getting that plane on the ground, that's the first thing. There's no messing around with a burning electrical smell. The more articles and news reports I've read the more it sounds like these folks were forced to land in Afghanistan. Sheesh! I've traveled through BUF ...

I don't know why F9 is adding BUF-Florida. B6 and WN all fly to the same cities more or less. So many Canadians and Western New Yorkers fly back and forth to Florida. It's just commonplace now for Ontario people to cross the border for cheaper fares and less hassle than YYZ. I'm sure the new flight...

The decision to land on rwy 32 rather than the longer 5-23 must have been because of a brisk wind out of the Northwest.
