Re: Any idea of the fate of Delta's 738's?

Rumor is they are next on the chopping block if demand does not show signs of picking up. To us enthusiasts who are checking fleet websites for age of aircraft, the A320s need to be going for sure before the b738 as they are older. BUT..Delta in the end knows whats best as they have those numbers i...

Re: 2020 MLB Charters

I wonder how specific the charter requests are from each team and whether or not they specify the city or the airport. You see teams use BED for games in Boston and MKC for Kansas City. From what I've seen, MKC is the preferred choice when playing the Royals. It's less than 2 miles from the field t...

Re: BA axes LCY-JFK A318 premium service

I think the service was more useful inbound to LCY. Outbound to JFK, I would assume most travelers have Global Entry and were not connecting at T7 in JFK anyways, so they really didn't care about pre-clearance at SNN and I have heard from numerous people that the SNN stopover took too much time and...

LGA - This is the interesting one. Northeast demand is way down. I mean way down. They are non-existent for these places close by. They were at 54 departures yesterday. The biggest advantage of pre-clearance from any point of view other than DHS is it allows flights to airports without customs. Not sure BRU has that kind of demand to anywhere. But pre-clearance is offered on a basis of DHS wanting to push clearance as far from the boarder as possible when it can, ...

Pretty amazing UA can support 8x daily DEN-DRO but DL doesn’t even do 1x SLC-DRO. It probably helps UA that DEN-DRO is over a six hour drive through the Rockies in ideal weather; add in winter and that number becomes much larger.
