Re: Proposal to rename John Wayne Airport (SNA)

I never understood the fascination with Americans naming airports after people. Isn’t Atlanta’s airport now officially named after three people while everyone just calls it Atlanta.

No pun intended. But there seems to be a lot of discussion emotion and anger about 1.5 inches.

Re: Passenger repeatedly punches back of reclined seat

What's worse is that in some media accounts, it states that the passenger having her seat punched was issued a warning by the FA. I've seen different versions of this story, all slightly different, but several had that warning report in them. Um, if true shouldn't the jerk behind have been the one ...

Re: 737NG Pickle fork issue

So the flight I’m taking on southwest this weekend is a 20 year old 737-700. I have to be honest. I’m a little freaked out due to the age. There’s no way to know that the aircraft has been inspected, correct? If it only flew 4 fc daily for 365/360 days a year it’s like 29990 fc. Any reassuring thou...

Re: DL angers pax at JFK

Yikes, that's even worse. Early onset boomeritis. If not feeling entitled to any and everything is the definition of 'boomeritis' , guilty as charged. I grew up in New England and worked at a seafood restaurant during high school, and I remember seeing this type of entitled behavior from people fro...

Maybe it’s that airlines have finally realized liveries and or designer uniforms don’t affect ticket sales.

A lifetime ban? How awful. Couldn't they just fly Delta? Or United? American? Southwest? If flying white an Army of little ones is so stressful how about a road trip?

RE: Family Removed From Flight Over Pet Allergy

My flight attendant friend always says she'd rather have a plane full of dogs than humans. They usually keep quiet and don't complain or demand compensation. Mostly they can hold their pee for three hours. Next time you depart Los Angeles watch the humans line up for the rest room 3 minutes after ta...

It's interesting how these stories usually start with"What went wrong" or "How can prevent this from happening again" ....and always turn into "What did they get to eat".
