MNG previously provided the capacity for UPS on the Cologne-Istanbul sector. Starting Nov 1st, UPS added its own capacity. Paris-LAX also had Norwegian offering flights.

Its indeed a big market - in 2019 with almost 2,000 O&D passengers daily.

French Bee should be fine (pandemic restrictions aside) as there is definitely strong seasonal tourism demand to support the flights.

For cost comparison, building merely two parking structures along with the automated people mover at LAX comes in at $5.5 billion.
