Re: DSLR vs MIRRORLESS

As far as Canon goes, they seem to be going "all-in" for RF mount with the lens development pipeline rumored. I think EF will be phased out, personally, long term of course.

Still waiting for a more advanced mirrorless body from Canon before changing over.

Absolutely I will be doing a very thorough inspection on the vehicle and taking a lot of pictures of everything. I do car detailing as a side hobby, so I have a keen eye on the paint quality and other very minor damage. Will document it all, for sure. I have my tricks to photograph the most minor of...

Re: AMEX Premium Car Insurance in Germany

From what I have found, liability coverage by law in Germany is "unlimited" at 0 deductible. At least, that is what my rental agreement says... So it's confusing, to say the least. Hertz offers for like $150 or so, liability for the entire term, so if I don't have a solid answer by then I'...

Well I found according to law in Europe, liability coverage has to be included with car rentals... So if that is the case, having my comprehensive coverage through AMEX should suffice: $100K of primary coverage for damage/theft $100K of accidental death $15K secondary medical per person $5K secondar...

I did google the topic a few times, but I didn't find a clear answer on documentation required. As far as the insurance goes, it seems to be perfectly fine to use as primary coverage overseas and won't be any issue. I figured since people here likely travel very often to/from Europe somebody could o...

I can’t stand religion (raised Catholic, but even as a young kid never really ‘believed’ and found it all silly)… But even though I am not religious at all, and I do believe and trust in the sciences, I also can’t throw away the idea of some huge power out there (God) that had some influence on ever...

I do miss the impressiveness of FSX in terms of traffic and such, that was one big benefit for sure. While the graphics and flying experience, to me, are much better in X-Plane, there are still some pros/cons between both. As mentioned, ATC is OK at best in X Plane so I simply don’t use it. Having come from FSX, X-Plane is a HUGE jump. Almost in every single way, IMO. Never used P3D personally, b...

X Plane is amazing! I make a few flights a week in it, and with the right aircraft it's very in depth. It also looks amazing and some mods can make it really like photo-realistic if you have the hard drive space for it (many TB's can be filled up with scenery!). Far, far, farrrrr better than FSX.

One important thing to remember is 'Rechts vor Links' (right before left). That is, when cars come to an intersection at the same time, the car farthest to the right always leads. Side question... Why do sports teams require such large aircraft? Is there that many occupants and/or cargo? Or is it just due to whatever aircraft said airline has available for use? Seems wasteful to use something like a 777 if a 737 for example could be used, especially for such short hops. In Cl...
