It´s just a guess, but maybe the FMC and the PFD use different sources/calculations for that speed wich leads to that 1 knot difference.

MEL,

I´ve seen some Boeing made training videos on my 737 course. They were quite short, very expensive and cover only things you should know already when you have worked on the aircraft for a time. I guess, the videos on the other Boeing types will be similar. Waste of money if you ask me...

Using this momentary action switch will cause all emergency lights to illuminate for one minute. Nice gimmick if you want to check the exterior emergency lights - no need to go inside and switch them on.

I prefer engines with a pneumatically operated starter. Electrically operated starter motors have a very short operation time compared with pneumatic starters. Performing engine ground runs and motoring checks is more "relaxed" when you have a pneumatic start system.

RE: Is The A319LR A Modification Of Existing A319?

Yes, it is just a modification of the A319. Beside from the passenger compartment installations, the A319LR has only some additional fuel tanks in the aft cargo compartment. One other difference may be the stronger landing gear from the A320 due to a higher MTOW compared to the "normal" A319.
